A CUTIE AND A SAD STORY.............

Hi there friends! Hope you are having a FABULOUS weekend!! As promised, I am here with a CUTIE for you!! However, I have a bit of a SAD story to go with it!! So.....if you are not into reading anything personal? Reader beware, for this post will be a BIT of that, for sure! I am NOT sure where I will go with this!! You know me and gabbing!!!

When I first got back into stamping again, one of the first girls I encountered here online, was Sarah Anderson. She was SUPER kind to me and we even swapped creations and images!! Now, I am sure you ALL have heard by this time, the TRAGEDY that has befallen the TALENTED, SWEET Sarah and her family. If you are NOT familiar with their SAD, SAD story; let me just say that it's HARD for me to explain!! Her HORRIBLE loss effects me STILL!! Not just because I know her? BUT......because I have children of my own!! As a mother, I believe this hits home, more than it would for most!! Sarah and her dear family lost their 3yr old son, Henry, on 11/2/09!! He was overtaken by a virus, that his LITTLE body could not fight!! I have tears....just telling you about it!! I couldn't believe my eyes, when I read this!! 3 years old?! My twins are all but 2 and a half!!! You have seen my pics!! Heck....MY son is at the top of my blog RIGHT now!!! I mean.....SERIOUSLY!! My heart is SO heavy for this family! I can't even BEGIN to imagine the sorrow they are going thru!! I must tell you.....THIS is ONE of the reasons....I ALWAYS say....ENJOY LIFE!!! This has happened right after we learned our neighbor, down the street, passed away SUDDENLY!!! She was the LOVING mother of 2 and was ONLY 36!!! ..... My friends? ....I am ONLY 38!!! WOW!!! The poor woman had an aneurysm(sure that is butchered!) and never saw it coming!! Although, who is to say that MAY not be best. However, it REALLY makes you appreciate your life and those in it!! That being said though, I try and appreciate that EVERY day!!! Anyway, I have ALWAYS done this, but, now do it MORE......I pray for the health of my children!! In today's world? Sarah's story has SO re-inforced that!!! I am SO sorry...I am babbling!!
I will say this.........hold you friends and loved ones CLOSE!!!! I am sure you will understand, when I say, hold your children even CLOSER!!! Sarah......I can honestly say I feel for you and your family and pray for your sorrow to ease!! I am SO sorry for the loss of your sweet, sweet boy!!!
OK, I am sorry.....I could go on and on!!! Thank you for letting me get that out!!! I wasn't sure what I was even going to type, for I had SO much emotion in me, over this!!! In honor of SWEET Henry, Melissa at PINK CAT STUDIO, has released a Digi image called Giraffe & Monkey, to raise money in his honor!! They are wanting to raise money for a tree to be planted, in his name!! The key? They want to have the tree planted in the zoo, where Henry LOVED to visit!! Isn't that AWESOME??!!! Even if you are NOT used to creating with Digi's I hope you will go to the PINK CAT STUDIO and purchase one to help Sarah and her family!!! I know there is another site, who is doing something as well, and I will check on that and get back to you on it!! Until then......thanks again and here is my creation......FOR HENRY!!! GOOD morning ladies!! How are you? It is 8AM here and ALL the kiddos are up! UP and Kade insists on watching BUZZ!! Well......I guess that is better than some of the JUNK they put on TV for kids! Haha!

A SWEET SURPRISE!!

Happy Saturday friends!! Thanks SO much for stopping by on your day off!! Haha! Well, at least it should be for most of you! I have a SUPER cute box to share with you today!! SO sorry I wasn't on to share it with you last night!! Let's just say I fell asleep on the job! Haha! Don't you hate it when that happens? You wake up, on the couch, and it's like 3 O'clock in the morning? MAN! What a bummer!
I made this box, for my DD Kyah! She is such the little stamper!! She can even tell you which stamps are from what company! Heck......she can even tell you which stamps are actual stamps or Digi's!! SO smart, this one is!! She is somethin' else! Anyway, I made this box so I could put some fun stuff in it!! I am NOT quite ready to give it to her, but, soon I hope!! I was able to find some of the CUTE Bellas, that are geared for kids. I was SO excited to pick them up on SCS,used and I even was able to work a trade or two! Woohoo!! As you all know, I have been trying to sell some of my stamps. As a HUGE reward for cleaning out and giving some of my stuff new homes? I was able to purchase my FIRST Gorjuss Girl!! However, this FIRST one is for Kyah!! Hopefully she will let me borrow it!! Haha!! I got Kyah the Gorjuss Girl Bumble Bee? She is going to be SO thrilled!! See....her nickname is bug!! So, this is PERFECT!! I also was able to trade some stamped images and get her a few with cats and fairies!! I plan to put this ALL in the box for her, as a little surprise for helping mommy!! She is such a HUGE help to me!! It is ALWAYS nice to remind her of how much I appreciate it!! Life gets REALLY busy sometimes and I don't always let her know, as much as I should! Ok....now that I have gone off on a tangent!! I am SUPER excited to give this to her and once I have everything in there, I will!!! Until then, I would LOVE to share it with you, so here it is!! It is a GREAT size for stamped images and Unmounted stamps!! She will have NO idea what is inside!! What FUN!!

See? Didn't I tell you? This PINK CAT STUDIO DIGI is perfect!! Not to mention the fact that Kyah LOVES Pink Cat Studio!! The image is called Itty Bitty Betty Ladybug!! This image is one of the ones I had one in their contest, when Melissa first opened her Digi shop! I am SO excited that she opened this shop!!! Kyah ALWAYS likes to see what is new there!! She asks me ALL the time!!! SO funny that my DD has already discovered her FAVE stamp companies!!!!

I really like this card!! I used my DCWV fall stack, from last year, which I totally forgot I had!! LOVE it wen that happens!! I used the TRICK OR SWEET set, from TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS!!! I believe this is only the SECOND time I have used ANY Taylored Expressions stamps! Uh......HELLO? What is wrong with me? I just had to......I have been a card making fool here lately!! This one I made to go with the new DP I got from DCWV!! I think this paper is SUPER cute!! It was hard to figure out where to place everything, as to NOT cover up the CUTE animals!! The image is form THE GREETING FARM and it is from the CUP OF STUFF SET!!! Such cute little mice; I thought they went perfect with the other animals! I finished this off with one of my FAVE sentiments form STAMPING BELLA!! Hope you like it!! Yepper!! I am deviating from this week's whimsy for JUST one post!! Haha! Whimsy will resume tomorrow!! Hope you all are well and thanks for stopping back! Lindsay, over at SASSY STUDIOS, decide she wanted to put out some images for Breast Cancer Awareness!! Of course she just had a release and the next is not until 11/1. So....she felt she would like to, just go ahead and release them now anyway!!! So, she will be doing a QUICK release, of a few tomorrow afternoon, and this is one of the Sassy beauties, that will be available!! This image is called, "Support A Cause"! Isn't she great!! I was SO excited to create something with her, because I got a chance to use my Cricut Breast Cancer cartridge!!! Well, that and she was SO fun to color!! I LOVE her hair!! Haha!!! Silly, right? Get it?.......Oh come on......do I have to spell it out? Haha!! CAPTAIN JACK!!!!! As in...SPARROW?? Haha!!! I just LOVE this week's challenge!!! It gave me a chance to use my Precious Pirate, from Sassy Studio Designs!! She ROCKS!!! I don't know if any of you remember my previous creations with her! I REALLY loved them!!! So, I HAD to create something using her!!! Luckily, I had ONE piece of my pirate DP left!!! I knew I should have gotten more!! KNow something else funny? I also had ONE small matching flower left!! WHEW!! I will have to go on a scavenger hunt for more!! I LOVE those colors together! One more FUNNY thing, about this card!! You are going to get a good laugh out of this! I was creating this at like, oh..... I don't know.....3 am??!! AND? When I went for my sentiment sheet? Also from Sassy Studios? I could NOT find it!! Of course!! My luck, I swear!! Hey, here is a BIT of whimsy for ya'!! Well.......sort of!!! Let's just say this creation makes me THINK of whimsy! Know why? It reminds me of my hubby's team.......the PHILLIES!!! Haha!! I mean....isn't it whimsical, that they are in the playoffs AGAIN? That and they are like....THIS close to the World Series? Seriously!!! If you ever had the pleasure of watching a PHILLIES game with a FAN?? You would HAVE to agree!!
Anyway, I started coloring this CUTIE and.......the rest is history!! It took on a life of it's own!! I had it in my head it was going to be all girly and stuff? NO, NO!! NUTCRAFTERS.......

Evening ladies!!! How are you? How was your weekend? SO sorry I didn't make it back here, the other night!! To make a LONG story short, not that you want to hear it!! Since I have twins, I am a member of our local MULTIPLES CLUB. Twice a year they host an indoor sale, where you can clean out your closets and pass on your things!! Haha!! Ok.....so I put it a little nicer!! Anyway, it is ALWAYS....set up Friday evening and shopping for members; Saturday is opened to the public! Well, let's just say......it turned into a LOT more than I had planned!! Don't get me wrong......I did plan to CLEAN out, but, my husband wanted to clean out, CLEAN out! Every time I thought I was done.......he would say......."Here, you can take this along tomorrow"! and So this went for a good few hours!! OR?........"What about this thing"?! Haha!! So....you get my drift!! ALL this was, AFTER, I got back from setting up!! Ok.....I actually didn't drag that out too far!! Whew!! Imagine that!
